Yolanda Starostanko  “Lund” “Aunt Yo” of Pontiac; October 7, 2019, Age 80; born February 5, 1939 in Clarksville, PA. Daughter of the late Joseph and Lea Angelo; wife of the late Robert “Denny” Starostanko; sister of the late Pete Angelo (Lucille) and the late Virginia DeAngelis (the late Frank), loving godmother of Julie Conti; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Yolanda held Bible study in her home, sang in the church choir and was a volunteer at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland for 25 years. She was an avid bowler who traveled the country competing in tournaments. Yolanda loved Kirk Gibson when he was with the Detroit Tigers and loved the Detroit Lions and Matthew Stafford. She wanted to thank her “sisters” Jo and Karen for everything they did for her, her neighbors Ken and Darlene for all the good food and their many acts of kindness, and Carl Tenuta for bringing her the Body of Christ every Sunday for many years. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish -St Michael Catholic Church. Rev. James Kean celebrant. Rite of Committal to follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford, Friday 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00-10:00 a.m. (THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION AT THE CHURCH PRIOR TO THE MASS).

Visitation:

Friday October 11, 2019, 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 12, 2019,  9:00-10:00 a.m.

at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford

(THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION AT THE CHURCH PRIOR TO THE MASS).
