Verna Lee Turner  of Lake Orion, Michigan; born May 21, 1946; went home to be with the Lord March 6, 2021 at the age of 74. Daughter of the late Herman and Inez Franklin; mother of Angella Turner and Katherine Asimah (James); grandmother of Naomi Thomas and James V. Asimah Jr.; sister of Leo Franklin and Michael Franklin; also survived by many other relatives and close friends. Verna was an active member of The Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills and had a senior ministry in Auburn Hills. She owned and operated Homes to Edify Assisted Living Facility for many years. A Celebration of Verna’s Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, at The Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills, 3655 N. Squirrel Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Pastor Steve Warman officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
